Does anyone else think a week is too long to wait between episodes of "Pretty Little Liars?" Tuesday nights are quickly becoming our favorite TV night of the week, thanks to the new ABC Family drama/mystery. (Drystery? Mysterama?) And thanks to the info we've dug up on the next couple of episodes, it sounds like Rosewood is only going to get crazier.
Next week, the gang has to deal with the aftermath of the homecoming dance, which, considering the whole Toby situation and that mysterious decrease in the town's population, should take a while. A special person is stopping by to help sort it out, however: None other than Sara Shepard, the mastermind author behind the "PLL" book series, who's playing a substitute English teacher at the high school.
Though we snagged a photo of Sara's appearance, the ABC Family powers that be wouldn't give us a clip because they didn't want to give any plot info away. Juicy!
In terms of teen authors making cameos in the filmed versions of their books, it sounds like Sara's cameo is a little juicier than Stephenie Meyer's diner scene in the "Twilight" movie. And from the photo of her posing with Lucy Hale (who is wearing an adorable dress, we have to add), we can tell that she'll be interacting with Aria.
Of course, that's not all the scandalous situations the ladies will find themselves dealing with. The week after Sara's appearance (7/27), Alison's brother, Jason, will head back to Rosewood for his sister's memorial and shake things up. And the following episode (8/3) features an awesome scenario: While at school to take the SATs, the girls get trapped in the building when a bad storm passes through town. Just think of the snooping possibilities!
What do you think of the upcoming "PLL" episodes? Are you excited to see Sara make an appearance?
